Product Validation: Training Sustainable Businesses
Challenge: Sustainability entrepreneurs on the Amazon Sustainability Accelerator needed to conduct their own qualitative product research but lacked the methodological foundation to generate reliable insights.
Approach: Workshop and 1-1 coaching programme delivered twice, teaching research fundamentals: identifying assumptions, creating testable hypotheses, and translating these into robust research objectives and interview questions for focus groups and customer interviews.
Outcomes
Trained 20 entrepreneurs across two cohorts
Entrepreneurs successfully conducted their own focus groups and customer research
Specific product decisions informed features, validated and go-to-market decisions
Equipped participants with a repeatable research methodology for ongoing product development
