Market Validation: Tech Ecosystem Hack Day

Challenge: The Milton Keynes tech ecosystem needed to identify and solve critical challenges through collaborative problem-solving across startups, corporates, and public sector stakeholders.

Approach: Co-facilitated hack day (Sharp Insight as part of Signal&Story) hosted by Protospace and funded by Milton Keynes City Council. We used problem-solution methodology: morning session exploring challenges through the How Might We... framework, followed by afternoon solution ideation and development. These were presented through a safari.

Outcomes

• 35 participants from multiple sectors, including AI, automation and charity

• Generated 6 solution concepts based on priority challenges for the tech ecosystem

• Solutions taken forward for consideration for the future direction of the tech ecosystem
