Most expensive decisions are made before the evidence is in. We make sure you have it.

Average cost of a failed AI implementation in the UK.

of UK businesses abandoned AI initiatives in 2025.

The commercial advantage of award-winning creative over the rest (IPA, 2025).

The organisations that come out ahead aren't the ones with the best ideas.

They're the ones that know what's true about their market, their customers, and their product before they commit significant resource.

We've worked across product validation, AI adoption, creative testing, and commercial strategy.

The problem is always the same: decisions made on assumed knowledge rather than external evidence.

This is the path we take everyone through.

Who we work with

Most AI implementations fail not because the technology doesn't work, but because nobody properly understood how people in the organisation make decisions and do their jobs before changing them. We find that out first.

The cost of a stalled implementation is lost productivity, leadership credibility, and the opportunity cost of twelve months without momentum.

Business Leaders Adopting AI

Creative that performs well in a room doesn't always perform well in market. Before the budget goes in, we find out whether it actually lands with the people you're trying to reach and why.

Every commercial assumption puts a client relationship at risk.

Brand + Creative Agencies Testing Assets

Product managers are building roadmap decisions on assumed knowledge. Product studios are building things that haven't been tested against the market.

The commercial foundations need establishing before significant resource is committed to either.

Product Managers + Design Studios

We help founders build the commercial case: the market, the customer evidence, and proof of demand that serious investors expect to see, and help investors, universities and accelerators strengthen the commercial skills of their portfolio.

A round lost because the commercial case wasn't credible enough is the most expensive validation failure there is. We help you avoid it.

Our mission

Too many great ideas fail not because they were wrong, but because the business, adoption plan, or campaign behind them was never grounded in reality. That's the gap we close.

We work with founders building toward their next raise, accelerators and investors strengthening the commercial skills of their portfolio, business leaders making AI adoption actually stick, and brand agencies who want to know whether their creative lands before the budget goes in.

The work looks different depending on where you are. But the problem is always the same: consequential decisions being made on assumed knowledge or AI output, rather than the human evidence and experience.

We've seen it more times than we can count. Brilliant founders who haven't answered the commercial questions investors will ask. AI implementations evaluated on technical merit rather than whether anyone will actually change how they work. Creative directions committed to before anyone checked if they resonated.

We help you find out what's real, before it gets expensive not to know.

AI Agents, Courses and the Book

Our methodology in your hands.

AI agents and resource libraries that guide you through each stage at your own pace, online courses for grant applications and design thinking, and the book that started it all.

Currently in Private Beta, our Customer Discovery Toolkit, combines multiple agents to guide you through key stages of your Founders Journey. You will take foundational steps, define your hypothesis and ICP, complete a market analysis and design interview questions.

You will analyse your interview transcripts and receive a report on signal strength, hypothesis validation and a go/no-go recommendation.

A practical guide for entrepreneurs and product teams on how design thinking, lean startup, UX, and Agile fit together, bridging research, validation, and implementation into one coherent approach.

Two online courses built around the commercial and strategic skills most technical founders never get taught.

Grant Funding Fundamentals gets you ready to apply before the right opportunity appears, so you're not scrambling when it does. Design Thinking for Deep Tech adapts the Double Diamond for the realities of high capital costs and long R&D cycles, covering customer empathy, systems thinking, and how to translate complex science into something non-technical audiences can act on.

What our clients say

  • “Moses, a last-mile EV solution, hadn’t used user research before this project to develop one of our in-house projects. I was really surprised and intrigued by the insights that Dr Chloe Sharp had found for us. She really challenged our assumptions and gave us something concrete to work with when iterating the Alpha product, based on evidence. We felt reassured that the iterations of the product are in line with user needs and our future product roadmap is based on evidence rather than assumptions. • “Data and ethics is a very important topic to us and as technology progresses, councils want to keep up but there is more responsibility and accountability and having a considered approach, that accounts for ethics and information governance toward predictive analytics for the older population, and one that is growing, was the key focus of the project. Chloe spoke to our Adult Social Care service users to explore their views toward unstructured data and supported workshops ran by LSE. She brought together the primary data and analysed this alongside the brief evidence review, which is secondary research, to bring us actionable and relevant recommendations.”

    — Mubasshir Ajaz, Islington Council

  • "Implementing AI into our marketing function has been a game-changer. Through AI training and working together under Chloe's guidance, we co-developed a CustomGPT tailored to support the content generation and re-purposing process. This has transformed how we work as a team, increasing our capacity to meet the demands of a growing business by offsetting lower-level tasks to AI. What used to take hours can now takes minutes, allowing our marketing team to focus on other higher-impact activities and creativity rather than repetitive content drafting. The CustomGPT maintains brand consistency, aligns with our voice and messaging, and has significantly improved prompt efficiency. It was easier to implement than I thought. We've increased productivity, reduced time spent on tasks and now have an AI assistant that empowers our team. We’re very happy with the outcome"
