Test and Measure: Prove your impact
Through user testing, SROI analysis, and social value evaluation, we help you demonstrate real results, not just to stakeholders, but to ensure your growth is genuinely sustainable.
The Cost of Not Measuring Impact
Without proper measurement, you're flying blind. You might be making a difference, but you can't prove it, improve it, or scale it effectively.
Stakeholder Scepticism: Without proper measurement, you're flying blind. You might be making a difference, but you can't prove it, improve it, or scale it effectively.
Wasted Resources: Without measurement, you keep investing in initiatives that don't work while missing opportunities to scale what does.
Missed Improvements: You can't optimise what you don't measure. Small improvements compound into a massive impact over time.
Compliance Gaps: Social value requirements and impact reporting standards are getting stricter. Being unprepared puts future funding at risk.
Our evidence-based impact approach
We help you measure what matters through robust evaluation methodologies that prove your impact and guide your growth strategy.
Performance Testing
Measure how well your products, services, and programmes actually work in the real world, not just how you think they work.
Strategic Optimisation
Turn measurement insights into strategic decisions. Identify what's working, what isn't, and where to focus your resources for maximum impact.
Impact Quantification
Convert your good work into compelling evidence through SROI analysis, social value measurement, and outcome tracking.
Compliant Reporting
Meet social value requirements while building systems and approaches that make ongoing reporting efficient and meaningful.
Stakeholder Validation
Prove your value to funders, investors, and partners. From grant applications to board reports, we help you tell your impact story with data.
Continuous Improvement
Build measurement into your operations so you can track progress, catch problems early, and continuously optimise your impact.
Our testing and measurement toolkit
We select the right combination of methods based on your objectives, timeline, and available resources. We use AI and automation to add efficiencies into our processes.
Evaluation Methods
-
Measure changes in knowledge, behaviour, and outcomes before and after interventions
-
Deep qualitative insights into user experience, satisfaction, and unmet needs
-
Compare different versions to optimise performance and user engagement
-
Gather real-world feedback from early adopters in controlled environments
-
Extract insights from existing CRM, analytics, and operational datasets
Impact Measurement
-
Quantify the social value created for every pound invested in your programs
-
Map out how your activities lead to intended outcomes and long-term impact
-
Ensure your measurement aligns with government social value requirements
-
Visualise the relationship between inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes
-
Involve stakeholders in designing evaluation approaches that matter to them
In-Depth Insights
-
Understand what works for whom, in what circumstances, and why
-
In-depth analysis of specific examples to understand complex interventions
-
Systematic evaluation of small-scale implementations before full rollout
-
Track changes and impact over extended time periods
-
Predict future outcomes and optimise resource allocation
Case studies
Winter Wellness Programme Evaluation
The Challenge: A local authority needed to evaluate the effectiveness of their Winter Wellness programme, which provided heating vouchers, warm spaces, and health support to vulnerable residents. With limited budgets and increasing demand, they needed evidence to justify continued investment and optimise resource allocation.
Our Approach: We conducted in-depth interviews to understand how the programme impacted daily life and mental health.
The Impact: We were able to demonstrate the effectiveness of the programme and inform the next round of tenders to deliver the next version of the programme.
Amazon Innovation Accelerator Social Value Assessment (Ongoing)
The Challenge: Amazon's Innovation Accelerator supports early-stage social enterprises across the UK, but needed to quantify and communicate the broader social value being created beyond just business metrics. They wanted to understand the programme's impact on communities, job creation, and social innovation.
Our Approach: We're developing a comprehensive SROI framework that tracks both direct outcomes (businesses supported, jobs created) and indirect benefits (community impact, innovation spillovers, ecosystem development).
Early Insights: We're tracking long-term community impact and expect to publish the full SROI analysis in 2025, informing Amazon's next phase.
